de Nure donates Hollman-Dugdale-Kindschi collection on International Museum Day, 5-18-07

MuseumMileTM Acquisition Fund

This is a new idea for 2009.   Above you will see a picture of me giving away a set of “stuff” that I value at $250,000.00.   I called this stuff the “Hollman-Dugdale-Kindschi” collection and it included an 1836 signed document by the father of Wisconsin: Henry Dodge.

As our economy continues to gridlock in various karmic ways, it is up to the system to find ways to circulate dollars into job creation and money movement activities.   Here is an example of the MuseumMileTM Plan’s value in using dollars collected from National, State, Local, Private and the MuseumMileTM Culture Tax to buy artifacts from individuals who have submitted their request to an Acquisition Board.

This sounds incredibly complicated, but I am sure there are examples of how, say the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, buys artwork they want.

Here again we see how President Obama can work with the system to create a National MuseumMileTM Commission to bring forth dollars to communities who wish to put forward museum development projects.

Dear Ms. Dimick,

Let me be the first to respond to today’s exciting display on the two library proposals being shown at the entrance to our Main library.

First, congratulations on this wonderful interest creator for our new library.  My comment is to have both designs, as it is obvious they do not exist in the same spot.  Both the Fiore/Irgens design and the T. Wall design are cool respectively.  Here is my suggestion:

  1. Fiore design becomes the new public library.
  2. T. Wall design becomes the Madison Historical Museum.

Please visit dennisdenure.com/wp to learn more on the MuseumMileTM Plan and learn this suggestion is part of a well thought out plan for branding Madison as, “Downtown’s MuseumMileTM and Madison’s Museum MileTM“.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Dennis Amadeus de Nure
